Our Pupil Council is made up from elected pupils from nursery through to primary seven. At the start of the year each class vote for a boy and a girl to be a councillor. Once a month the Pupil Council meet together with one of the teachers to speak about what is happening in our school. "We want to make our school different and make it fun for all our pupils. We get to help make decisions about our school". "We have started to collect ideas from our classes. Ideas are collected in a suggestion box and taken to our meetings". "We tell our class about our meetings and what we have decided. We have out own notice board with photographs of the Pupil Council. We put up minutes of meetings on the board. Pupil Councillors are each given a badge to wear". A Pupil Councillor has to be very sensible. You have to be good at asking questions and listening to everyone's ideas". Without our Pupil Council the school would just stay the same".
